Washington County Board of Developmental Disabilities (WCBDD)
The Washington County Board of Developmental Disabilities (WCBDD) serves over 700 individuals with disabilities annually in Washington County. Many persons receive services in more than one area. We provide support and/or resources in the following ways: Early Intervention, School Age Support, Community Integration, Employment Support, Service and Support Administration Services, Investigative Agent Services, Family Support Services, Residential and Adult Day Services, and Transportation Services.
The Washington County Board of Developmental Disabilities receives the overwhelming majority of operating funds (67%) from a county property tax levy approved by voters 23 years ago, in 2003.
