The Washington County Board of Developmental Disabilities is partnering with Camp Oty’Okwa to provide a week-long summer camp for those ages 14 to 24 to enhance their independent living skills. This camp will be a day camp from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday July 18th – Friday July 22nd.Â
The camp will be at Ewing School and will be free for individuals who are connected with the County Board. Campers should be dropped off at the front entrance of Ewing. Please no early drop offs. Please ensure the camper has eaten breakfast prior to drop off, lunch will be provided.
Please be advised that should behavioral challenges arise for a camper that are disruptive to the others and/or require much ongoing 1:1 support the Camp Oty’Okwa counselors will have to ask the camper not to return as they are not equipped to staff the camp in that capacity.
If interested, please return information by June 17th, 2021. Please return this to your SSA either via email or mail to the SSA Office (340 Muskingum Drive, Suite B, Marietta, Ohio 45750).
